Conditions for Reveal
Reveal refers to the process of PFP shown through a thumbnail image changing into individual PFP images. You must complete mint schedule to reveal.
•
You cannot reveal partially. All items are revealed at once.
•
If there is a remaining quantity, you must decide whether to reveal while some are not sold or to reveal after you purchase them.
•
If you did not complete the mint schedule, the reveal page will not be activated.
•
If you have sold all items, you can reveal in the most ideal state.
•
To reveal, go to Generative Art Builder > Collection List > (select) Collection > Reveal.
Reveal after selling all items
The most ideal state of reveal is to reveal all NFTs at once.
•
You can reveal by clicking “Distribute & Upload”.
•
When you click it,
→ you will send a final request to reveal on blockchain
→ and have the metadata URI applied on the Smart Contract.
→ The thumbnail image will be replaced by individual NFT PFP images.
•
When the you complete the final reveal on blockchain, you are done with all necessary procedures.
Precautions
Please let the holders know that the revealed images will be updated as they click the “Refresh Metadata” button in NFT marketplaces like OpenSea or Rarible.
When you did not sell all items
It is when you completed the minting schedule yet failed to sell all items.
Instructions for reveal are given in Generative Art Builder > Collection List > (select) Collection > Reveal, as follows.
When the Quantity Minted and Total Quantity are different, it means you have a remaining quantity. For the example below, it is when you have generated 10,000 PFPs but only have minted 9,000.
When you proceed to reveal in this state,
•
all 10,000 items will be minted instead of the 9,000 minted items when you reveal without having 100% minted.
•
Since unminted NFTs are revealed as well, people with programming ability or NFT experts may analyze which NFTs are rare and buy NFTs with high rarity when the creator creates a minting schedule for the remaining 1,000 as they are already revealed on blockchain. Therefore, we do not recommend that you release a mint schedule after reveal as it may go against fairness.
•
We recommend that you reveal after having 100% of the total number of items in the collection minted so that NFTs can be fairly distributed to everyone.
Completing minting 100%
The creator team can buy all the remaining quantity and reveal.
•
Click “Distribute & Upload”.
•
Click “Final Request to reveal” and complete reveal.
•
All procedures are completed once the final reveal on blockchain is completed.
